In the cabin

You can carry in the cabin, subject to customer service agreement, a dog or a cat whose weight does not exceed 8 kg (bag included). specific closed bag whose dimensions do not exceed 46 x 28 x 24 cm. To facilitate your installation on board, Air France recommends the use of a soft bag.

• The bag must be sufficiently ventilated and allow your pet to stand up and turn around.
• The bag must be able to fit in the space under the seat in front of you.
• Your animal must never leave its bag during the flight.
• You can only carry one animal per bag.
• Each passenger can only travel with one animal.
• The bag your pet is traveling in is considered paid extra baggage.

For safety reasons, rigid animal transport boxes are not accepted in the cabin, regardless of their size.

In the hold

Cats and dogs over 8 kg and a maximum of 75 kg must travel in the hold. Carriage in the hold is limited to a maximum of 3 animals per passenger. On Air France flights, only "shell" boxes, made of rigid plastic or fiberglass, closed with bolts and IATA (International Air Transport Association) approved are accepted.
